Deep hole guide key is a key positioning support component on deep hole cutting tools, installed on the outside of the tool and in contact with the machined hole wall. Its main functions are:
Balancing radial cutting force: offsetting the lateral displacement force generated during drilling to prevent the drill bit from drifting
Guide tool feed: Ensure that the tool advances in a straight line along the predetermined axis to improve the straightness of the hole (error≤ 0.03mm/m)
Enhance rigidity: reduce tool vibration with a large aspect ratio and improve machining stability
Squeezing smoothing: slightly squeezing the processed hole wall to improve surface roughness (Ra1.6-3.2 m)
Features: Compact structure (usually 1.5-10mm thick), wear-resistant material, installation position close to the cutting edge (3-5mm), it is a key component for achieving "three-point circle" self guidance.
